She's got one, he's got one, they have something in common. Another person has one, which he won’t share. Others pretend they have none, but act so conspicuously that you immediately notice that they have one. Although we all have our own, we want to know the secrets of everybody else too!

In the development of children's identities, secrets are the beginning of segregation. With them we begin to see ourselves as individuals. Secrets create an »I« and a »You«, a »The Others« and a »We«. They offer us a free space that is filled by our imagination. They are moments of happiness, fear, curiosity and secrecy. It is a law of nature that everything beginning with »secret« is exciting. And it's no secret – is it? – that a play without the tiniest secret is somehow not a real play. That's why we make a secret out of a whole dance piece. But psst! Don’t tell anyone!

Premiere: 03 October 2019
