Patrick is eleven years old and he is an only child. When he finds out, that his parents will have another baby, he is not amused. Even though he would like to have a brother, this brother should be actually older and cool – no baby! But that’s not the end of the story. Although his parents have been keeping the secret of the new one, Patrick found out: His brother will be hindered and it’s unclear if he will be ever able to speak. Shall his mother give him birth or not? The parents are helpless and desperate. But Patrick is sure, that there has to be a way to help his brother. He will teach him to speak! So he needs good advices. Therefore Patrick starts an exploration tour with his friend Valentin. They visit a Croatian boxer, a professor; and they get to know how natural one can learn if there are pressing questions. Now Patrick can hardly wait for his brother entering this world.

»Patrick’s Trick« was nominated for the German Children’s Theatre Price in 2014 and was also honored with the »Jugendtheaterpreis Baden-Württemberg« 2014.
