The new pupil Jürgen comes into the class and makes an unusual offer: for five minutes they are allowed to do anything with him, but afterwards they have to leave him alone. An intense, interactive performance about bullying.
In 2006, Menke-Peitzmeyer was honoured with the author promotion price of the national stage group in the German stage association for his play »Erste Stunde« (»First Lesson«).
Performances of the production »First lesson« can only be shown in the classroom. It needs an authentic setting, the space where the students spend their every-day-life. And at the same time it plays with the dynamics of a "classroom" situation.
